Join Walker as a Brush Pile Attendant at our Thorold compost facility. Ensure proper organic waste disposal while engaging with visitors and maintaining site cleanliness.

This full-time seasonal role involves overseeing waste disposal at the Niagara compost site. As an Attendant, you will guide visitors to designated brush piles and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols. Clear communication and a commitment to environmental stewardship are essential in this hands-on position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Observe and direct organic waste to correct locations

• Guide visitors and contractors to appropriate brush piles

• Remove incorrectly placed waste and redirect as needed

• Communicate effectively with the public and external contractors

• Adhere to safety protocols and best work practices

Requirements:

• Strong commitment to safety and environmental legislation

• Good judgment and discretion in waste management

• Ability to work full-time in seasonal conditions

• Excellent communication skills

• Available for adjusted work schedule as needed
