Elevate procurement efficiency with the District School Board of Niagara as Manager of Procurement and Risk Management Services. Leverage strategic leadership to ensure compliance while enhancing educational opportunities.
In this role, you will guide the Procurement team and oversee the Enterprise Risk Management program. Your expertise in public sector procurement and risk management will help serve over 43,000 students across 97 schools. You’ll ensure legislation adherence, build collaborative relations, and innovate procurement practices that align with Board objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead competitive procurements for major purchases
• Monitor trends in procurement and strategic sourcing
• Provide guidance on procurement and risk management
• Serve as Board’s contact for vendors and agencies
• Oversee the Enterprise Risk Management program
Requirements:
• Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
• CPPO or CSCMP designation preferred
• Minimum five years in public sector procurement
• Three years in supervisory or management roles
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications
