Our client’s state of the art facility is committed to sustainable practices and innovation in the mushroom growing industry. * Please note, some in branch testing will be required should your application go through.
What You Will Be Doing, as a Greenhouse Worker:

Attention to detail while inspecting individual mushrooms ranging in size from 1” to 4”, ensuring high quality standards are met

Exceptional hand / eye dexterity and coordination

Assisting in growing and cultivating various species of mushrooms

Meticulously packing only the best high quality mushrooms quickly and efficiently in a fast paced team centered environment

Transporting mushrooms and shipments throughout the large greenhouse facility

Meeting hourly and daily production targets for most quality mushrooms picked

Maintaining a clean and organized workspace in a food safe environment

Other duties as assigned

What You Should Have, as a Greenhouse Worker:

Previous 1 year work experience in a production greenhouse environment REQUIRED

Excellent physical fitness with the ability to lift up to a maximum of 20 - 30 lbs

Upbeat, enthusiastic attitude

Ability to work in a team environment

Speedy accuracy in a fast paced environment

CSA Green Tab Steel Toe Boots

Good organizational and communication skills

In Return, You Will Receive:

$17.00 per hour + 4% Vacation Pay

Potential for bonuses

Paid weekly on Fridays

The Shift You Will Be Working is:

1st shift (day shift) - Monday to Friday

Weekend work required

8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Where You Will Be Working, as a Greenhouse Worker:

Niagara-on-the-Lake - please only apply if you are in the immediate Niagara Region area (20 KM radius)

This position is NOT bus accessible – personal vehicle is strongly preferred
