Role

Summary:

As our Process Coordinator, you’ll analyze manufacturing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, create clear manufacturing documentation, support quality initiatives, troubleshoot production challenges, and help introduce new processes and technologies into our operation.

You’ll work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other teams to turn ideas into practical improvements on the manufacturing floor.

Your documentation will transfer knowledge. Your problem-solving will remove roadblocks.
Your attention to detail will protect quality. And your improvements will help SWS manufacture smarter, more consistently, and more efficiently.

What This Role is NOT:

• Not a Desk-Only Role:
  If you want to analyze manufacturing from behind a screen without spending time where the work actually happens, this probably isn’t the role for you. You need to understand the process firsthand.
• Not Change for the Sake of Change:
  Process improvement isn’t about making things more complicated. Every improvement should have a reason, better quality, greater efficiency, clearer training, improved safety, increased capacity, or stronger consistency.
• Not a Lone-Wolf Position:
  You’ll bring ideas and technical knowledge to the table, but successful improvements require input from the people designing, building, testing, and supporting our products.
• Not Someone Who Hates Documentation: A great process isn’t truly scalable if nobody knows how to repeat it. Clear manufacturing instructions, records, drawings, and process documentation are a major part of this role.
