Rail Bender at Nortrak

Location: St. Catharines

Join voestalpine Railway Systems Nortrak Canada as a Rail Bender. This role focuses on bending and surfacing rail to ensure quality and meet production schedules in a supportive environment.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for bending, curving, and surfacing rail components for our Niagara facility. This position requires skilled operation of equipment and attention to safety and quality standards. You'll work independently, adhering to established schedules and production specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bend and curve rail using hydraulic presses

• Operate jib and overhead cranes safely

• Read and follow production schedules accurately

• Heat rails with torches as instructed

• Perform minimal deburring with hand grinders

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED preferred

• Forklift and Crane certification preferred

• Ability to read blueprints and work orders

• Basic math skills for calculations

• Physically fit to lift up to 50 pounds
