Operate machinery and prepare production parts at Savaria Patient Care’s Beamsville plant on a straight afternoon or night shift.
General Labourers and Machine Operators support hospital bed manufacturing for long term care facilities. The work includes robotic welding, hand grinding, equipment setup, material control, and quality checks. Shifts run Monday to Friday afternoons or Sunday to Thursday nights.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare parts for painting using prescribed methods
- Load, unload, and assist with robotic welder setup
- Grind welded parts to quality specifications
- Maintain tools and equipment at workstations
- Report defective materials and unsafe conditions
- High school diploma completion
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read drawings and complete documents
- Good manual dexterity and communication skills
- Own transportation required due to no bus accessibility
