Location: St. Catharines
Craft quality bread as a full-time Baker with COBS Bread in Welland, using baking skills and cross-functional production training. Weekend availability is required.
This Baker position supports COBS Bread standards alongside Bakers, the Baking Team Manager, and Production Manager. You will learn Bowl, Bench, and Ovens responsibilities while helping meet customer demand. The position offers full training, with baking experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:- Produce bread meeting COBS Bread quality and range standards
- Coordinate timely production with the bakery management team
- Cross-train across Bowl, Bench, and Ovens areas
- Assist with stock rotation and customer service
- Support bakery teamwork and safe operating standards
- Previous baking experience preferred but not essential
- Availability for overnight, early morning, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Ability to work 30 to 40 hours weekly
- Ability to lift 25 kilograms waist high
- Own transportation and willingness to complete a talent demonstration
