Part Time Registered Practical Nurse RPN

Location: St. Catharines

Extendicare St. Catharines seeks a part-time Registered Practical Nurse for evening shifts. Deliver compassionate care and support to our senior residents in a rewarding nursing role.

This position requires a valid certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario and offers a chance to apply your nursing skills in a meaningful environment. You will be responsible for assessing residents, implementing care plans, and monitoring health changes alongside personal care staff. Strong communication will be vital to ensure effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and record vital signs of residents

• Implement and evaluate personalized care plans

• Direct and supervise care staff activities

• Ensure compliance with infection control practices

• Act as staff replacement for the Registered Nurse

Requirements:

• Current nursing certificate from Ontario

• Experience with senior care

• Understanding of nursing and health practices

• Strong time-management and planning skills

• Effective communication and listening skills
