Extendicare is seeking a temporary part time RPN to join its dedicated team. This role involves providing effective nursing care for seniors, monitoring health conditions, and developing care plans. Key skills include knowledge of health practices, time management, and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities   Observe and record vital signs and symptoms of residents
Develop and implement resident care plans collaboratively
Supervise personal care staff and evaluate their work
Administer medications accurately and in a timely manner
Prepare the facility for RAI MDS assessments
Requirements   Current RPN certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario

Experience with cognitively impaired individuals
Robust knowledge of infection control practices
Effective organizational and planning skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
