As a Registered Practical Nurse with Southbridge Care Homes, you will support residents by administering treatments, analyzing health conditions, and developing care strategies. This position requires engagement in multidisciplinary meetings to facilitate optimal care outcomes while adhering to established nursing standards and policies. Your compassionate approach will be paramount in building relationships with seniors and your healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document vital signs and initiate health measures as needed

• Develop and evaluate personalized care plans for residents

• Supervise and train nursing assistants in daily tasks

• Conduct assessments to monitor health changes and implement referrals

• Ensure compliance with infection control regulations

Requirements:

• Valid RN certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Registration or eligibility for the Registered Practical Nurses Association

• First Aid and BLS certifications required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Completion of a 2-Step TB Skin test within the last year
