Niagara---Lake Palliative Registered Nurse

Position: Niagara-on-the-Lake Palliative Registered Nurse
Location: Niagara-on-the-Lake

Support community members as a Palliative Registered Nurse with Para Med in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. This full-time role involves delivering compassionate in-home care for patients at various stages of palliative needs.

You will be essential in assessing and responding to the needs of patients of all ages, ensuring they remain comfortable and cared for within their homes. This position requires a dedicated Nurse with palliative care expertise, offering independent work while building lasting relationships with patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize assessment tools to evaluate patient needs

• Execute and adapt personalized care plans

• Cultivate trust and rapport with patients

• Document patient interactions and updates accurately

• Provide essential on-call services for patient well-being

Requirements:

• Valid registration with the CNO as a Registered Nurse

• Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle access

• Previous community care experience is a plus

• Ability to travel within designated areas

• Genuine passion for community healthcare and patient advocacy
