As a vital member of our team at North Bay Regional Health Centre, you will address complex mental health needs while utilizing your knowledge in psychiatric assessment and pharmacological management.

Your role emphasizes the Recovery Model and enhancing patient coping and functional skills. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential to provide quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate nursing care for patients

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and document findings

• Implement individual treatment plans based on recovery goals

• Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team

• Participate in shift rotations across programs as needed

Requirements:

• Current registration as a Practical Nurse in Ontario

• Basic Life Support certification (recent within last year)

• Gentle Persuasive Approach certification required

• Experience in mental health settings

• Bilingualism in English and French preferred
