Position: Clinical Nursing Instructor at Brock University

Brock University seeks a Clinical Nursing Instructor to oversee student learning in clinical settings. Bring your expertise to enhance student competency in nursing practices.

In this part-time role, the Clinical Nursing Instructor will guide students through practical experiences in the Nursing Practicum course, NUSC 4F96/98. Collaborating with course instructors and preceptors, you will support student learning objectives while modeling patient-centered care. Your ample clinical experience will be crucial in creating an insightful learning environment for the next generation of nurses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students in clinical settings for practical learning

• Prepare and assess assignments as outlined in the syllabus

• Foster student communication and teamwork in healthcare

• Provide regular feedback on student progress and development

• Address issues proactively to enhance learning experiences

Requirements:

• BScN required;
Master’s degree preferred

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience

• Prior experience as a preceptor or clinical instructor preferred

• Strong organizational and communication skills
