In the Technician role, you will drive a company van, visit 10-15 customers each day and apply mosquito/tick control products with a powered backpack sprayer to customers’ properties. If you love to be outdoors, this is the job for you. You will get to visit some of Ontario’s nicest properties! Your customers will be ecstatic to see you because your work will allow them to use their property without bites from mosquitoes.

You make a difference every day by protecting clients from mosquitoes and the harmful diseases they carry.

Additional Training: If you’re interested in completing the exterminator technician course, we’d like to hear from you! Complete the technician course, pass the exam, and we will reimburse your fees once you successfully join our team.

• Outgoing: Willing to learn with a positive attitude
• Independent: Work alone or in a small team most of the time
• Effective communicator: Able to communicate well with customers

• Full G licence, 5 years of clean driving record
• Be a licensed Exterminator Technician (or willing to obtain before job start)
• Work is from Mid May–Sept (seasonal)
• Willing to flex and move hours according to weather
• Bring positive attitude daily and with customers
• Being willing to work 55 hours a week
• Able to lift/carry 50 lbs. on a regular and consistent basis. Carry a 50-pound backpack for most of the day.
• Exposure to exterior elements (pollen, cold, heat, etc.)

• WHMIS
• FIRST AID / CPR
• Full G (no restrictions)
• Exterminator Licence (technician)

• Salary: $21-25 per hour with bonus pay & commission on sales in the field
• Company van (during work hours)

• Pest control is an essential service, meaning we will be operating regardless of COVID-19 lockdowns, with appropriate standards.

• Up to half of cell phone monthly bill covered
• Upon completion of a successful year, a written recommendation to future employers will be provided
• After training is provided and trust built, there will be a great deal of independence
• Willing to ‘flex’ hours around exams, personal schedules
