Assistant Store Manager Niagara Outlet Collection

We are looking for an enthusiastic and keen individual to fill the role of Assistant Store Manager for our Lindt Chocolate Shop in Niagara Outlet Collection on a contract basis.

• Assist with the management of the daily operations of the Lindt Chocolate Shop.
• Support the generation and growth of corporate sales.
• Uphold exemplary customer service by modeling appropriate behaviours and establishing clear service standards.
• Monitor sales performance and labour requirements daily to maximize store profitability without compromising customer service.
• Assist with recruitment activities including interviewing and hiring Retail Sales Associates.
• Supervise store employees to maximise customer service, sales, and profitability.
• Support training on sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Order merchandise and supplies in a timely manner with a focus on inventory management and loss prevention.
• Reconcile daily cash with sales receipts and complete daily paperwork, payroll, accounting, and store administration tasks.
• Develop and apply in‑depth knowledge of products and sales data to achieve sales targets while controlling expenses.
• Assist with ongoing performance management, including employee performance reviews.
• Maintain store merchandising presentation in line with company standards.
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness and food and product safety.
• Manage cash handling, inventory ordering, and related retail administrative duties.

• Post‑secondary education.
• Minimum of five years of experience in retail sales, including management or supervisory experience.
• Experience in inventory control and order management.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a retail management role with 2 to 5 years of overall retail experience.
• Previous experience in merchandising or visual presentation.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and sales skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong computer proficiency in MS Office.
• Demonstrated ability to go above and beyond to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Passion for chocolate.

• Salary range: $47,000‑$60,000 CAD per annum (final agreement based on market conditions and experience).
