Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Treow Group Recruitment, on behalf of our luxury hospitality client located in the Niagara Region, is hiring for a Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Key Accountabilities:

Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute portfolio-wide sales and marketing strategies, establishing short- and long-term commercial objectives that drive revenue, profitability and market share.

Identify market trends, competitive opportunities and emerging business segments while providing strategic direction to sales and marketing teams.

Sales Management

Lead sales across group, corporate, tour & travel, government, association and social event markets, including business development, prospecting, account management and conversion strategies.

Build key client and industry relationships while establishing sales goals, performance metrics and accountability measures.

Marketing & Brand Strategy

Lead integrated marketing across digital, social, email, website, advertising and traditional media while ensuring consistent brand positioning across the portfolio.

Evaluate marketing ROI and manage relationships with agencies, media partners and tourism organizations to optimize performance and investment.

Revenue Performance

Partner with Revenue Management to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, total property revenue and profitability.

Analyze market data, forecasts and competitor performance to guide commercial and promotional strategies while maintaining pricing integrity.

Financial Management

Develop and manage departmental budgets and marketing expenditures, ensuring investments deliver measurable ROI.

Monitor and report on commercial performance while identifying strategic revenue opportunities to improve profitability.

Team Leadership & Development

Recruit, coach, mentor and develop high-performing sales and marketing teams.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and results through ongoing performance management and professional development.

Industry Relations & Partnerships

Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, tourism events and community functions.

Build strategic relationships with tourism authorities, destination marketing organizations and industry partners while maintaining awareness of hospitality trends and best practices.

Your leadership profile includes:

10+ years of progressive sales and marketing leadership experience within the hotel, resort or hospitality industry

5+ years of experience at an executive or senior leadership level

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field

Proven success driving hotel revenue growth, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and market share across multiple market segments

Strong understanding of hotel sales, revenue management and distribution channels

Experience setting sales targets, forecasting performance and driving team accountability

Proven leadership and development of high-performing sales and marketing teams

Strong financial acumen, including budgets, ROI and commercial performance

Strategic marketing and brand leadership across digital and traditional channels

Multi-property hotel or hospitality portfolio experience preferred
