Join a leading firm as a Mainframe Application Developer, earning CAD 55-60/hr contribute your expertise in COBOL, JCL, and DB2 while working on vital batch and online applications.

With over 8 years of experience, you will design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications in this key role. You will work with COBOL, JCL, and IMS environments while also optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures. Your responsibilities will involve managing the development lifecycle, supporting file transfers using EBX and TIBCO, and ensuring high-code quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and enhance mainframe applications in batch/online environments

• Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and DB2 components

• Collaborate with teams to solve production and application issues

• Utilize job scheduling tools for development management

• Support file transfer integrations between vendor and host systems

Requirements:

• 8+ years in mainframe application development

• Strong COBOL, JCL, DB2, and IMS experience

• Proficient with source control tools like Endevor

• Familiar with job scheduling tools such as CA-7

• Robust knowledge of DFSORT and ICETOOL utilities
