Position: AZ Driver for Steel Deliveries Ontario
Location: Fort Erie

Join Salit Steel as an AZ Driver responsible for local and regional short-haul steel deliveries across Ontario. This role requires operating trucks and hauling steel using flat-bed trailers.

As an AZ Driver, you will transport structural and reinforcing steel while ensuring safety and security measures are adhered to. Your expertise in communication, professionalism, and time management will be vital in presenting excellent customer service. Previous experience in hauling steel and commercial vehicle operation will enhance your candidacy for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive straight or articulated trucks delivering steel products

• Haul structural/reinforcing steel on flat-bed trailers

• Secure cargo with tarps for safe transport

• Inspect vehicle condition, including tires, lights, and brakes

• Monitor mechanical performance to ensure vehicle fitness

Requirements:

• Valid AZ License with Air Brake endorsement

• Experience hauling steel with flatbed trailers

• Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration (CVOR)

• Criminal record and driving record checks required

• Knowledge of safe driving practices is essential
