Trust Officer
A community bank in Steamboat Springs is confidentially seeking an experienced Trust Officer to manage trust, estate, and fiduciary relationships across Routt County and the Yampa Valley. This client-focused role suits someone who enjoys working alongside families, attorneys, and CPAs.
Responsibilities:
- Administer personal trusts, estates, guardian ships, and agency accounts
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and beneficiaries
- Interpret governing documents and manage accounts according to their terms
- Partner with investment staff, attorneys, and tax advisors
- Grow the trust business through referrals and community relationships
- Keep accounts in line with fiduciary and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of trust administration experience
- CTFA or a similar designation preferred
- Sound judgment and excellent communication skills
- Organized, discreet, and detail-oriented
