Bartender

• Welcome all guests and ensure responsive, professional and gracious service at all times.
• Assist team members as situations arise to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
• Create magical experiences for guests within the short window of service.
• Listen well and answer guest inquiries.
• Maximize sales and ensure guest returns.
• Participate in all educational events provided.
• Provide mentorship to new staff members.
• Grow knowledge of food and beverage.
• Perform side work applicable to assigned stations and check areas for unattended work.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment; keep all service stations/areas clean and organized.
• Prepare simple to advanced cocktails with precision and consistency to the highest standards.
• Verify identification and age of customers.
• Process payments from customers.
• Clean glasses and bar utensils.
• Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences.
• Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits.
• Open and maintain tabs throughout the shift.
• Build rapport with regular customers and members to create a positive atmosphere.
• Act as an expert on all products served by the restaurant.
• Be an Ambassador for Gravity Haus, sharing the mission and vision to build a globally conscious community for modern adventurers.

• Education and Experience:
  
  1 year bartending preferred; 1 year customer service experience.
• Physical:
  Ability to stand for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Salary: $12.00 / hour plus tips.
