Instructor, Mi'kmaw Nursing Program

As a vital member of the nursing faculty, you will deliver courses that honor Mi'kmaw perspectives while fostering academic growth in students. This role includes teaching both online and on-site classes, conducting skill labs, and guiding clinical placements. Collaboration and relational mentorship are key components of this educational approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver land-informed nursing education grounded in Indigenous knowledges

• Design and implement innovative teaching practices for diverse learners

• Oversee clinical supervision and mentoring throughout student placements

• Participate in collective program innovation and accountability

• Support student success through reflective practices and adaptable teaching

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent with NSCN registration

• Five years of clinical nursing experience required

• Deep commitment to Indigenous ways of knowing and education

• Proficiency with learning technologies and teaching adult learners

• Experience in curriculum design and facilitation of blended learning
