Position: Disaster Recovery Manager Role
Shape Sobeys' disaster recovery landscape as a Disaster Recovery Manager. Lead enterprise-wide recovery initiatives to protect critical IT infrastructure in a hybrid work setting.

This full-time position requires a proactive approach to lead the recovery planning process, ensuring alignment with business continuity goals and compliance requirements. The Disaster Recovery Manager will work closely with IT and risk functions, focusing on designing effective response strategies. This role can be based in Mississauga or Stellarton.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and testing of DR policies

• Lead the execution of risk assessments and BIAs

• Manage vendor relationships for DR operations

• Ensure disaster recovery documentation meets audit standards

• Guide teams during major incidents to coordinate responses

Requirements:

• 7+ years experience in disaster recovery or IT operations

• 2+ years in a managerial capacity

• Educational background in Information Technology or Risk Management

• Expertise in enterprise-level DR execution

• Familiarity with governance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO)
