Our client is a provider of outsourced cloud-based accounting and business solutions to retail, online, and service-based businesses across a variety of industries. They are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Accountant to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee a team of Bookkeepers
Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and Income Tax calculations and returns
Prepare monthly management accounts for a portfolio of clients
Generate and compile monthly Board Reports
Draft annual financial statements
Review accounting records and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards
Liaise with clients and provide ongoing financial support and guidance
Assist with process improvements and implementation of best accounting practices

Minimum Requirements

Matric (Grade 12)
BCom, BCom Honours, CIMA, SAIPA qualification, or relevant Accounting degree with completed articles
Minimum 3 years' post-qualification accounting experience
Proficient in:
- Xero
- Dext
- Draftworx / Case Ware
- Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Fluent in both Afrikaans and English (verbal and written)
Valid driver's license
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines

Preferred Attributes

Experience with in an accounting practice or outsourced accounting environment
Strong client relationship management skills
Ability to supervise and mentor junior team members
Proactive, organised, and solutions-driven approach
