Job Description:

• Support the monthly and annual financial closing process, including general ledger integrity and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting documentation for audit purposes.
• Assist with intercompany accounting, revenue and expense validation, and group reporting.
• Ensure accurate accounting records and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Work closely with external auditors and the Finance team throughout the audit process.
• Assist with audit queries and provide accurate financial information and supporting schedules.
• Review and improve existing financial processes where required.
• Provide general financial accounting support to the Finance team during the contract period.

• Relevant Financial degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Finance or Financial Accounting environment.
• Strong experience with Annual Financial Statements (AFS) and IFRS.
• Experience working with external auditors and supporting audit processes.
• Good understanding of statutory and accounting requirements.
• Strong knowledge of reconciliations, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.
• Excellent computer literacy and strong communication skills.
• Fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
• Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to improve existing processes.
• Previous experience in the fruit, agricultural or export industry will be advantageous.
