Senior Financial Accountant

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Accountant to join their established finance team in the picturesque town of Stellenbosch. You will play a key role in month-end close processes, financial reporting, and supporting strategic financial initiatives. • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Prepare complex financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and South African tax legislation.
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting roles, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including complex modeling.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
