Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate business and customer pain points across products, systems, and processes to identify root causes.
• Analyse data using SQL to validate assumptions, identify trends, and support recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand operational challenges and improve business performance.
• Break down complex problems into practical, actionable solutions.
• Work closely with stakeholders and development teams to define and implement improvements.
• Create user stories, process flows, specifications, and documentation where necessary.
• Test and validate solutions before implementation to ensure business needs are met.
• Continuously identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and enhance business processes.
• Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• 3 to 5 years' experience in Business Analysis, Product, Operations, Consulting, Data Analysis, or a similar problem-solving role.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to analyse data and uncover actionable insights.
• Experience working alongside technology or software development teams.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving complex business challenges.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.
• Experience with in financial services, lending, or African markets beneficial but not essential.
• Willingness to travel when required.
