HSE Officer; SACPCMP

Our client, a national construction company specializing in medium to large scale projects, seeks to employ an experienced and qualified, SACPCMP registered Health and Safety Officer with experience in the construction sector, for their operation in Cape Town for a 2‑month contract.

Please note that SACPCMP registration is essential and due to the position being on contract, only candidates in the Cape Town/Winelands region will be considered.

• You have completed a relevant National Diploma in Safety Management and are registered as a Safety Officer with SACPCMP, with a minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Health and Safety Officer within the Civils, Building and related sector.
• You have previous experience in construction with a strong emphasis on safety and risk management, and thoroughly investigate accidents and incidents.
• You possess knowledge and experience with reporting, Workmen’s Compensation, relevant legislations, and understand the admin revolving those key areas – MS Office experience is also essential.
• You can decide and initiate action and are highly motivated, with the ability to operate efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• You are a detail‑orientated and organized team player with demonstrated delivery in high‑pressure situations.
• You have a driver’s licence, a clear criminal and credit record, and reliable transport.
