Project Manager - Residential Developments

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Project Manager to lead residential development projects in the picturesque Stellenbosch area. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong leadership abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of the residential construction lifecycle.

You will manage all aspects of the project, from site acquisition and design through to construction and handover, liaising with clients, contractors, and local authorities.

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Oversee all phases of residential construction, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
• Manage relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations, permits, and safety standards.
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide detailed progress reports to stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Significant experience as a Project Manager in the residential construction sector.
• Demonstrated success in managing projects from inception to completion.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
