About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and capable Project Architect to lead key projects from concept through to completion in their Stellenbosch office. This role requires a strong blend of design sensibility, technical expertise, and project management skills. You will be responsible for overseeing project teams, ensuring high-quality design delivery, client satisfaction, and adherence to budget and timelines. This is a challenging yet rewarding position for a proactive architect looking to take on greater responsibility and contribute to significant architectural endeavors within a respected firm.

• Manage architectural projects from inception to handover, ensuring successful delivery.
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Develop design concepts and ensure their technical and regulatory feasibility.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients to achieve project objectives.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed architectural documentation and specifications.
• Conduct site visits and address construction-related queries effectively.

• Professional Architect qualification and registration with SACAP.
• Minimum of 8 years of post-graduate experience, with a proven track record of managing architectural projects.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and project management software.
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and stakeholder expectations.
