Senior Architectural Designer

Our client is looking for an experienced and creative Senior Architectural Designer to join their vibrant team in Stellenbosch . This role is instrumental in leading design concept development and translating creative visions into tangible architectural solutions. You will play a key part in shaping the aesthetic direction of projects, working closely with clients and project teams to deliver exceptional design outcomes.

• Lead the conceptual design process for various architectural projects, developing innovative and contextually appropriate solutions.
• Produce high-quality design presentations, including concept sketches, renderings, and physical models.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams to refine designs and ensure project objectives are met.
• Oversee the technical development of designs, ensuring feasibility and compliance with regulations.
• Mentor and guide junior architectural designers, fostering their creative and technical growth.
• Stay current with architectural design trends, materials, and technologies.

• Professional degree in Architecture or a related design discipline.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating design leadership.
• Expertise in design software such as Rhino , Sketch Up , V-Ray , and the Adobe Creative Suite .
• Proven ability to articulate design concepts clearly and persuasively.
• Strong understanding of construction principles and their integration into design.
• Experience working in a hybrid model, effectively balancing remote and in-office collaboration in Stellenbosch .
