Senior Project Architect

Our client is looking for a highly capable and experienced Senior Project Architect to manage and oversee architectural projects from inception to completion in Stellenbosch . This role demands strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a thorough understanding of project life cycles. You will be responsible for coordinating design teams, liaising with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving projects towards successful delivery.

• Lead and manage architectural projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants.
• Oversee the preparation of all architectural documentation, including drawings, specifications, and contract administration.
• Ensure strict adherence to building codes, planning regulations, and South African building standards.
• Manage client relationships, providing regular updates and addressing concerns proactively.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments throughout the construction phase.

• Professional Architect qualification (SACAP registration).
• At least 8 years of post-qualification experience in managing architectural projects.
• Proven ability to lead project teams and manage complex construction processes.
• Proficiency in architectural software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Experience working on diverse projects within Stellenbosch and the surrounding areas is advantageous.
