Project Architect - Commercial

Our client is seeking a competent Project Architect with a focus on commercial projects to join their team in Stellenbosch. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle, from initial client engagement and conceptual design through to construction administration. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest architectural standards. • Lead and manage commercial architectural projects from inception to completion.
• Develop design concepts and detailed construction documentation for commercial buildings.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the project duration.
• Oversee the construction administration process, including site inspections and problem-solving.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and client specifications.
• Mentor junior architects and contribute to the firm's technical expertise.

• Master's degree in Architecture.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience, with a strong portfolio in commercial architecture.
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
• Demonstrated experience in project management and construction administration.
• Excellent client liaison and presentation skills.
• Registered Architect with SACAP or equivalent.
