Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Architectural Consultant to provide expert advice and strategic guidance on a range of architectural projects in the prestigious Stellenbosch area. This role involves advising on design strategy, regulatory compliance, technical solutions, and project feasibility. You will work with clients and internal teams to ensure that architectural visions are not only creative but also practical, sustainable, and aligned with best industry practices.
The hybrid nature of this role allows for collaborative engagement within the office while also offering the flexibility to work remotely, ensuring a balanced approach to client service and project delivery within the dynamic architectural landscape of the Cape Winelands .
- Provide expert consultation on architectural design, planning, and regulatory matters.
- Advise clients on feasibility studies, site analysis, and project programming.
- Develop strategic recommendations for design approaches and problem-solving.
- Ensure projects comply with relevant building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with design teams to review and refine architectural plans and specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations for potential clients.
- Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural practice, with significant consulting experience.
- Deep understanding of architectural theory, design principles, and construction technology.
- Expert knowledge of South African building regulations and planning processes.
