Early Childhood Educator - Preschool

About the Role

Our client is searching for a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join their preschool team in Stellenbosch . This role focuses on creating a stimulating and nurturing learning environment for young children, fostering their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. You will be responsible for designing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, observing and assessing student progress, and maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom.

• Develop and implement an engaging and developmentally appropriate preschool curriculum.
• Plan and conduct daily activities that promote learning through play, exploration, and discovery.
• Observe and document each child's progress, providing individualized support and feedback.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that respects diversity and encourages social interaction.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning space, adhering to all health and safety standards.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development, achievements, and any concerns.

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Proven experience working as an educator in a preschool or kindergarten setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and early learning methodologies.
• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
