About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join their inclusive school community in Paarl, Western Cape . • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
• Provide targeted instruction in academic subjects, life skills, and social-emotional development.
• Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
• Collaborate effectively with parents, guardians, therapists, and other school personnel to support student progress.
• Assess student performance regularly and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning styles and needs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records and progress reports.

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field;
  Master's degree preferred.
• Valid teaching license with a specialization in Special Education.
• Proven experience working with students with a range of disabilities (e.g., learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD).
• Strong understanding of special education law and best practices in inclusive education.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and behavior management skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and create modified learning materials.
