About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and experienced Curriculum Developer specializing in STEM Education to join their innovative team in Stellenbosch. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and refining engaging, high-quality STEM curricula for various educational levels. You will research pedagogical best practices, integrate current scientific and technological advancements, and ensure curricula meet educational standards and learning objectives. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping forward-thinking STEM programs that inspire critical thinking, problem-solving, and a passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics among students.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop comprehensive STEM curriculum frameworks, lesson plans, and learning materials for diverse age groups.
- Research and integrate the latest educational technologies, scientific discoveries, and pedagogical approaches into curriculum design.
- Ensure curriculum alignment with national and international educational standards and assessment requirements.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, educators, and instructional designers throughout the curriculum development process.
- Pilot, evaluate, and revise curricula based on feedback and performance data to ensure effectiveness and relevance.
- A Master's degree in Education, STEM field, or Curriculum Development.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum design and development, with a specific focus on STEM subjects.
- Strong understanding of current educational theories, instructional design principles, and assessment strategies.
- Proficiency in utilizing educational technology and digital learning platforms.
