About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Senior Physics Teacher to join their dynamic science department in Stellenbosch . Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive physics instruction to secondary school students, covering topics from mechanics to modern physics.
- Design and implement innovative teaching methodologies, including practical experiments and demonstrations.
- Develop and administer assessments, track student progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure a safe and stimulating laboratory environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the science department on curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects.
- Mentor and guide students in science fairs, competitions, and university applications.
- A Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related science field; a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience teaching physics at the secondary school level.
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum requirements for physics.
- Proven ability to engage students and foster a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Familiarity with modern teaching technologies and laboratory equipment.
