Program Coordinator - Youth Development

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Program Coordinator with a passion for youth development to join their team in Stellenbosch . This role is essential for the successful planning, implementation, and management of programs designed to empower and support young people in the community. You will work closely with youth, families, schools, and other stakeholders to ensure programs are impactful, engaging, and meet the evolving needs of the youth population in the Stellenbosch area.

• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of youth development programs, ensuring smooth and effective service delivery.
• Develop engaging program activities and curriculum in line with program goals and objectives.
• Facilitate workshops and sessions for young people, fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Liaise with schools, community centers, and parents to recruit participants and ensure program participation.
• Monitor participant progress and provide guidance and support to youth as needed.
• Maintain accurate program records, track attendance, and contribute to program evaluation reports.

• Experience in youth work, education, social services, or a related field.
• Proven ability to plan, organize, and deliver engaging programs for young people.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• A strong understanding of adolescent development and the challenges faced by youth.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including youth, parents, and educators.
• Proficiency in standard office software and a commitment to child protection policies.
