Youth Mentor and Program Facilitator

Our client, a non-profit organization committed to empowering youth in Stellenbosch , is seeking a dynamic and inspiring Youth Mentor and Program Facilitator . This role involves guiding and supporting young people through structured programs designed to enhance life skills, educational attainment, and personal development. You will serve as a positive role model, create engaging learning environments, and foster a sense of belonging and self-worth among participants.

This position is ideal for someone passionate about youth development and capable of working effectively in a remote or hybrid capacity within the Western Cape .

• Facilitate interactive workshops and activities focused on life skills, career exploration, and personal growth for youth.
• Provide one-on-one mentorship and guidance to young individuals, addressing their challenges and aspirations.
• Develop and adapt program content to meet the diverse needs of participants aged 13-18.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all program attendees, both online and in person.
• Collaborate with program coordinators to track participant progress and gather feedback for program improvement.
• Engage with parents and guardians to foster a supportive ecosystem around the youth.

• Experience in youth work, education, counseling, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of adolescent development and common challenges faced by young people.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with young people from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in using online collaboration tools for remote program delivery.
