Montessori Teacher

Our client is seeking a dedicated and certified Montessori Teacher to lead a classroom in their renowned school in Stellenbosch . You will guide children through their developmental stages, fostering independence, critical thinking, and a love for learning in a carefully prepared environment.

• Prepare and maintain a prepared Montessori environment according to the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori.
• Guide and support children in their individual learning journeys using Montessori materials and methods.
• Observe each child's progress, documenting their developmental milestones and academic achievements.
• Foster independence, concentration, and self-discipline in the children.
• Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss child development and progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience.

• Accredited Montessori teaching certification (e.g., AMI, AMS).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Montessori Teacher in a similar age group.
• In-depth knowledge of Montessori pedagogy and child development.
• Excellent observation and assessment skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with children, parents, and staff.
