Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver comprehensive physics lessons that align with the national curriculum and examination requirements.
- Design and conduct engaging laboratory experiments to illustrate physical concepts and encourage hands-on learning.
- Assess student understanding through various methods, including tests, quizzes, and project-based assignments, providing detailed feedback.
- Foster a stimulating and safe learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and explore scientific phenomena.
- Collaborate with fellow science educators to develop interdisciplinary learning opportunities and share best practices within Stellenbosch.
- A Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related physical science, coupled with a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE).
- Demonstrated experience in teaching physics at the high school level.
