About the Role
Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and client-focused Renewable Energy Consultant to advise businesses and organizations in Stellenbosch on adopting sustainable energy solutions. In this role, you will assess client needs, evaluate various renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, biomass), and develop customized strategies to reduce energy costs and environmental impact. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through the process of planning, implementing, and optimizing their renewable energy installations.
This position requires a deep understanding of the renewable energy landscape, market trends, and financial incentives, providing essential support to clients seeking to transition to cleaner power sources.
- Conduct energy audits and feasibility studies for potential renewable energy projects.
- Advise clients on the selection of appropriate renewable energy technologies and system designs.
- Develop business cases and financial models to support investment in renewable energy solutions.
- Assist clients in navigating regulatory requirements, permits, and incentive programs.
- Provide project oversight and support during the implementation phase of renewable energy installations.
- Stay current with advancements in renewable energy technologies and market developments.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the renewable energy sector , consulting, or a related advisory role.
- Strong knowledge of various renewable energy technologies , energy efficiency principles, and sustainability practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Understanding of financial analysis and investment appraisal techniques for energy projects.
