Role Overview:
Cube Space is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Industrialisation Engineer to develop, optimise and industrialise manufacturing processes for Attitude and Determination Control Systems (ADCS) and their subsystems. This role is critical in driving production efficiency, cost‑effectiveness, and maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with product design engineers to review designs for manufacturability, understand performance specifications, and translate design data into efficient manufacturing processes.
- Lead formal process validation and production handover to ensure seamless integration into production workflows.
- Design and test innovative solutions to enhance production capabilities and capacity.
- Optimize processes to minimise resource requirements, reduce cycle times, improve output quality, and ensure consistent reliability for high‑volume manufacturing.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for tools, equipment, and production processes.
- Lead training and improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and team capabilities.
As the custodian of the manufacturing process, you will:
- Maintain, support and upgrade manufacturing processes to meet growth targets.
- Transfer technical know‑how from the design team to production, fostering a deep understanding of the product's design and manufacturing across the business.
- Leverage methodologies such as LEAN Manufacturing, Theory of Constraints and Six Sigma to drive continuous improvement in both manufacturing and business processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
- Strong communication, leadership and teamwork skills.
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving ability with a solid mathematical foundation.
- Self‑management, planning and organisational skills to meet deadlines and drive projects.
- Technologically proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, programming (Python/C#) and version control (Git).
- Initiative to improve processes and perform in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
