About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic Project Manager with a passion for renewable energy to oversee the development of new projects. This role involves managing all aspects of project life cycles, from site selection and feasibility studies through to construction and commissioning. The position offers a hybrid work model , allowing for remote planning and coordination, supplemented by essential on-site visits to project locations and stakeholder meetings.
You will be instrumental in advancing sustainable energy solutions, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements, contributing to a greener future.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of renewable energy projects, including feasibility studies, permitting, design, and construction.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management frameworks .
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure project milestones are met.
- Conduct regular site visits and progress assessments to monitor construction activities and ensure quality standards.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and community representatives, managing expectations effectively.
- Ensure strict adherence to environmental regulations, safety protocols, and project specifications.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil), Environmental Science, or a related field. PMP certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management , with a strong focus on renewable energy projects (solar, wind, etc.). Experience managing projects under a hybrid work structure , balancing remote duties with necessary on-site engagement. Solid understanding of renewable energy technologies, project finance, and regulatory landscapes.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills . Proficiency in project management software and relevant industry tools.
