About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Manufacturing Engineer to contribute to their advanced manufacturing operations in Stellenbosch . This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in process optimization, new product introduction, and continuous improvement within a production environment. You will lead engineering projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and innovation.

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Oversee the introduction of new products into the manufacturing environment, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines for engineering initiatives.
• Mentor and guide junior manufacturing engineers and technicians.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in process optimization, statistical process control (SPC), and problem-solving techniques.
• Experience with automation , robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across departments.
