Senior Power Systems Engineer

• Perform advanced power system studies, including load flow, short circuit analysis, transient stability, and protection coordination.
• Design and specify power system components such as transformers, switch gear, generators, and transmission lines.
• Develop strategies for integrating renewable energy sources (solar, wind) and energy storage systems into the existing grid.
• Lead the technical aspects of grid modernization projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineering staff.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop long-term power system expansion plans and operational strategies.

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in power system analysis and design.
• Expertise in power system software such as PSS/E, ETAP, or DigSILENT Power Factory.
• In-depth knowledge of grid codes, protection principles, and utility-scale power system operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
