Electrical Project Engineer

Our client is seeking a dynamic Electrical Project Engineer to join their team in Stellenbosch . This hybrid role offers a combination of on-site project management and remote planning, providing a balanced work environment. You will be responsible for managing electrical engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This position requires strong leadership, technical acumen, and excellent organizational skills. You will interface with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes and maintain strong stakeholder relationships within the Stellenbosch area and beyond.

• Manage all phases of electrical engineering projects, including planning, design, execution, and closeout.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines, and monitor progress closely.
• Coordinate with design teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and client specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and progress meetings, and prepare regular project reports.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management within the electrical engineering sector.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and installation practices.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a hybrid work setup.
