Our client is actively recruiting for a highly skilled Senior Loss Control Consultant to join their established team in Stellenbosch . This role is crucial for identifying and mitigating potential risks for policyholders, thereby reducing insurance losses and improving safety practices. You will conduct on-site assessments, provide expert recommendations, and deliver training to clients across various industries. Your deep understanding of risk management and commitment to safety will be essential in safeguarding our client's portfolio and enhancing their clients' operational resilience within the Western Cape .
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive on-site risk assessments of client operations to identify potential hazards and exposures.
- Develop and implement tailored loss control recommendations and safety programs for diverse businesses.
- Provide expert guidance and training to clients on best practices in workplace safety, accident prevention, and risk mitigation.
- Analyze loss data and trends to identify areas for improvement and proactively address potential issues.
Prepare detailed reports documenting findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions for clients and internal stakeholders. - Stay abreast of relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and emerging risk management techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in loss control , risk management, or safety consulting.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, hazard assessment, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Excellent report writing, presentation, and client communication skills.
- Ability to travel regularly within the assigned region (Stellenbosch and surrounding areas).
