Optical Network Engineer

• Design and deploy optical network solutions, including DWDM, OTN, and fiber infrastructure.
• Perform network provisioning, configuration, and testing of optical equipment.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations for optical links.
• Collaborate with field teams on fiber optic cable deployment and splicing activities.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including schematics and configuration details.
• Evaluate new optical technologies and recommend solutions for network enhancement.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in optical network engineering .
• Proficiency with optical transport technologies like DWDM and OTN.
• Experience with optical test equipment (e.g., OTDR, power meters).
• Knowledge of fiber optic cable management and splicing techniques.
