Civil Engineer - Structural Design & Analysis

Our client is seeking an accomplished Civil Engineer with a strong background in Structural Design & Analysis to join their team in Stellenbosch . You will be responsible for the structural integrity of various building and infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with all relevant standards. • Perform detailed structural analysis and design for concrete, steel, and timber structures.
• Develop comprehensive design documentation, including calculations, drawings, and specifications.

• Conduct site visits for inspections and to address any structural issues during construction.
• Utilize advanced structural analysis software to model and assess complex structural systems.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in structural engineering materials, technologies, and building codes.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering , with a clear focus on structural engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in structural design and analysis .
• Proficiency in industry-standard structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SAFE, Revit Structure).
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, standards, and material behavior.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration is preferred.
